USC is looking to take two running backs in their 2024 class, and the first one to jump on board could be Matthew Fuller (6-0 210) of Jesup, GA. Fuller plans to announce a commitment decision Friday at 1:00 PM on Twitter with USC and Georgia Tech his two finalists. He visited both officially earlier this month. Some of the other offers from Fuller included UCF, Florida, Iowa State, Minnesota, Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, UAB, Memphis and FAU. Last season Fuller rushed for 1757 yards and 22 touchdowns.
Another primary running back target for USC will take his official visit this weekend. Daniel Hill (6-1 215) of Meridian, MS has also taken official visits to Auburn and Alabama. He also visited USC for the Tennessee game last November and the spring game in April.
Hill will be one of at least ten official visitors (subject to change) at USC this weekend, the last weekend of recruiting before a dead period begins on Sunday night. He will be one of four uncommitted prospects on campus. The others are LB David Bucey (6-2 200) of Savannah who is a strong commitment candidate; DE Dylan Stewart (6-5 238) of Washington, DC, who is down to USC, Ohio State, Georgia and Miami; and WR Jonathan Paylor (5-9 170) of Burlington, NC who is down to USC and NC State.
