#STRecruiting: WR Parker Livingstone reviews official visit with #Gamecocks

Parker Livingstone

WR Parker Livingstone (6-4 190) of Lucas, TX made an official visit to USC over the weekend, his first ever visit to see the Gamecocks. Receivers coach Justin Stepp has been recruiting him and was a key component on his visit along with head coach Shane Beamer and offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains.

“Beamer, Loggains, Stepp are all great people and me and my family had a great time going down there,” Livingstone said.  “It was my first being in South Carolina and it was a great time.  It’s a good academic school.  That’s important too because football won’t always be there.”

This was the first official visit of the month for Livingstone, and there will be others, and the Gamecocks have set the bar high for the competition.

“The facilities are amazing. The stadium was amazing.  The culture there is unmatched,” Livingstone said. “That’s why they did so good this year because of their culture, and they are good people.  I think that’s where I can fit in with the coaches.  They connect a lot.  Every time I see them when they come visit me it’s always a great time.”

The Gamecocks are battling Texas, LSU and Arkansas for Livingstone and are right in the middle of things.

“They are definitely a top school for sure,” Livingstone said.  ‘This visit was outstanding. It was unbelievable.”

Livingstone said he will visit LSU in two weeks and Texas the weekend after that. He visited both unofficially in the spring. He also has been scheduled to visit Arkansas on June 9th. He plans to announce his commitment decision July 1st.

Last season Livingstone had 52 catches for 908 yards and 12 touchdowns.
