USC in final ten with LB Jamonta Waller of Picayune, MS. Waller also has Mississippi State, Penn State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Auburn and Texas A&M on his short list. Waller made numerous visits earlier in the year including a stop at USC for a junior day January 21st. ”They want me at inside linebacker. They think I can transition into that with the motor that I have. They are in the SEC, and they put guys like me into the NFL,” Waller said earlier in the year. Last season Waller had 106 tackles with 24 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks.

WR Keylen Adams (6-2 185) of Virginia Beach, who visited USC Friday, has the Gamecocks in his top five with a July 13th commitment date. The others on the short list are Ohio State, Pitt, Virginia Tech and Alabama. He and USC receivers coach Justin Stepp have been in communication since last September, and his trainer has worked with Gamecocks receiver Juice Wells. Adams has official visits set with Pitt June 2nd, Ohio State June 9th, Alabama June 16th and Viginia Tech June 23rd.

Former USC DT Demetrius Watson is transferring to Coastal Carolina.

6-7 Jorge Ochoa is transferring to Upstate from Vermont.
