Wade Woodaz made an immediate impact on the Clemson football team as a freshman last season, and in 2024 his brother will join him as part of the Tigers’ defense. Thursday night LB Drew Woodaz (6-3 200) of Tampa announced a commitment to the Tigers.

Oklahoma coach Brent Venables, who recruited Wade Woodaz to Clemson, tried to do the same with Drew, but to no avail. He visited Oklahoma and Clemson for games last season. He also visited Clemson for their junior day January 28th and for last weekend’s spring game. He has an official visit to Clemson scheduled for June 2nd.

Woodaz also had offers from NC State, Boston College, Maryland, Utah, Liberty, UCF, Cincinnati, Iowa and Indiana.

In 14 games last season, Woodaz had 92 tackles with 2 tackles for loss, 11 pass deflections and 1 interception. He’s the 7th commitment for the 2024 Clemson recruiting class.
