USC is in the running with LB Jamonta Waller (6-2 225) of Picayune, MS. He visited for their junior day January 21st and is returning to watch a spring practice April 4th. “That was one of my first junior days and they just loved how I looked,” Waller said. :”They want me at inside linebacker. They think I can transition into that with the motor that I have.” Waller has not identified favorites at this point and the Gamecocks have a chance to be in that group. “They are in the SEC and they put guys like me into the NFL,” Waller said. “they are not last on the list.” Waller will visit Auburn this Friday. Waller also has visited Penn State, Alabama, Florida and Florida State. He’s also planning to see this spring LSU and Georgia. He has official visits set with Florida June 2nd and Penn State June 9th. Playing defensive end, last season Waller had 106 tackles with 24 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks.
