
Two teams that opened SEC play last weekend with sweeps meet up at Founders Park this weekend with South Carolina taking on Missouri. The Gamecocks are ranked as high as 4th this week and swept Georgia last weekend before losing at Charlotte Tuesday night. They are 20-2. The Tigers are ranked as high as 15th this week and swept Tennessee last weekend. They improved to 17-3 last night by scoring five runs in the ninth to defeat Kansas 8-3 in Kansas City.
USC will go with their normal weekend rotation of Will Sanders, Noah Hall and Jack Mahoney. Thursday afternoon coach Mark Kingston met with the media and shared his thoughts on the upcoming series.
