



Top-ranked South Carolina plays one final home game this season Sunday afternoon against South Florida in round two of the NCAA Women’s Tournament. With a win, the defending national champions will move on to the “Sweet 16” next week in Greenville. Lose, and the Gamecocks will see their 39-game winning streak, and their 41-game home winning streak, come to an end.
The Gamecocks dispatched Norfolk State with relative ease Friday afternoon. The 8th seeded Bulls, however, needed overtime to defeat Marquette. The Bulls are 27-6 and are led by 6-4 Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadue who averages over 16 points and 12 rebounds per game. They also feature Elena Tsineke who is actually the team’s leading scorer at 18 points per game.
