Swinney impressed with energy and effort coming out of first #Clemson scrimmage (AUDIO)

Dabo Swinney said he’s pleased with the progress the Tigers are making in Garrett Riley’s offense

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney addressed the media following the Tigers first scrimmage of the Spring, Wednesday. There is plenty to talk about with Clemson in the process of installing a new system under offensive coordinator Garrett Riley and positions up for grabs on both sides of the ball.

Swinney has been pleased with the team’s effort through seven practices. “The guys have really shown up for seven days,” said Swinney. “We’ve had great energy and great competitiveness. There hasn’t been one lull.”

Swinney went on to praise how quickly his team and staff are grasping the new offense and how impressed he’s been with the group of talented newcomers. Clemson fans will get to see it all for themselves at the Orange and White game on April 15th.
