Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney made what many consider to be a “splash” hire this past season by luring Garrett Riley away from TCU to become the new offensive coordinator of the Tigers. Riley led the ninth best scoring offense in the country last year as the Horned Frogs averaged nearly forty points per game. By contrast, under Brandon Streeter, Clemson ranked 48th in total and 30th in scoring in 2022. Good, but evidently not good enough for Swinney.
On Wednesday, Riley met with the media to discuss his transition from Fort Worth to Clemson and to update the progress of his unit during the early portion of spring practice.
