USC is in the top eight with WR TJ Abrams (5-11 175) of Lehigh Acres, FL. The others are Tennessee, Penn State, LSU, Texas A&M, Florida State, Vanderbilt and Florida A&M. Last season Abrams caught 37 passes for 429 yards and 5 touchdowns. He also rushed for 248 yards and 2 touchdowns. For his career he had 67 catches for 921 yards and 11 touchdowns.

TE Michael Smith of Savannah said Monday night he will not be able to make the USC junior day Saturday because of a basketball game. He is announcing on the 24th with USC, Tennessee, Ohio State and Arkansas his four finalists.

Northwestern WR Elijah Caldwell plans to take his official visit to USC this weekend. He was at NC State last weekend.

Clemson target WR Alex Taylor was offered by Tennessee and Miami.

Clemson target DT Champ Thompson was offered by Colorado and LSU.

DB Cedric Franklin (6-2 185) of Marietta, GA plans to visit USC Saturday for their junior day.

USC target OT Mike Williams will visit Michigan State January 28th. He will visit USC this weekend.

USC offered RB Braylen Russell (6-2 230) of Benton, AR. He also has offers from Texas A&M, Purdue, Boston College, UNLV, Arizona and Ole Miss.

USC offered DT Dominick McKinley (6-7 270) of Lafayette, LA.

USC offered WR Jeremiah McClellan of St. Louis.

USC offered 2025 DT Andrew Maddox (6-5 280) of Hattiesburg, MS.

Blythewood WR Joshua Gary and CB JT Gary reported PWO offers from USC.

  1. Just curious about this. Do you think that BEAMER knew all along that RATTLER was returning? I say that because he didn’t make an offer to any of the qb’s in the portal, some of which are vetter than RATTLER. Also, why are DOTY AND Coltin Gauthier sticking around when they coukd be playing elsewhere? If SELLERS IS ALL THAT, I see him and BAILEY along with RENO being 2,3,and 4. What are your thoughts?

    1. No. I think Rattler was waiting on his NFL evaluation and then he waited to see what his NIL deal was going to be for the 2023 season. As for the others not leaving, I can’t speak for them. Obviously, they like it there. There will be another open transfer period in May so let’s see what happens then.
