#STRecruiting Notebook 1-6

Woodland OT Kam Pringle Thursday cut his list from 10 to 6.  Making the shorter list were USC, Clemson, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia and NC State. Cut from his previous list were Virginia, Ohio State, Auburn and LSU. Pringle visited USC and Clemson this past season and also earlier in the year.

Western Illinois transfer OT Sidney Fugar will begin his official visit to USC Friday. He will be coming off an official visit to Cincinnati. Fugar, who has three years of eligibility, said earlier this week he plans to make his decision soon after his visit to Columbia. His mother will join him on the visit.

USC one of many P5 programs Thursday to offer Michigan transfer WR Andrel Anthony Jr. (6-2 190) of Lansing, MI.  He announced Wednesday that he was putting his name in the NCAA Transfer Portal. Some of his other offers are Michigan State, Arizona, Auburn, UCLA, Notre Dame, Purdue, West Virginia, Texas A&M, Penn State, Cal, Pitt, Miami and Oklahoma, In two seasons with the Wolverines he caught 19 passes for 328 yards and 4 touchdowns.

2024 OT Caleb Brewer (6-6 290) of Wyomissing, PA was offered by USC Thursday. He also has offers from Michigan, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Tennessee, West Virginia, Rutgers, Syracuse, Cincinnati, Illinois, Duke and others.

RB Chris Davis (5-11 165) of Picayune, MS plans to visit USC January 21st and Florida State January 28th.

RB Gavin Griffin (5-10 190) of Camden, MS plans to attend the USC junior day January 21st. He plans to be at Florida State the following weekend.

Northwestern WR Elijah Caldwell was offered by Purdue and Georgia Tech.

Daniel OL Bryce Smith (6-4 280) reported a PWO offer from Clemson.

6-5 Austin Swartz, who has a Clemson offer, was offered by NC State.  He made an unofficial visit for the Duke game.
