
Top-ranked USC ran their record to 13-0 by running away from Texas A&M 76-34 Thursday night in Columbia in their SEC opener. The Gamecocks built a 24-6 lead after one quarter and added to the lead from there with it reaching 46 points later in the game.
The win is South Carolina’s 10th in their last 11 meetings with the Aggies.
Freshman Talaysia Cooper led USC with 15 points off the bench. Zia Cooke added 14 points. Aliyah Boston played just 19 minutes and tallied 6 points and 5 rebounds.
The Gamecocks play next at Georgia on Monday night.
