


2024 LB Andrew Hines III (6-1 215) of Atlanta released his top dozen on Sunday and he has USC in the list. The others are Harvard, Cal, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska and Duke. Hines visited USC for the Clemson game in 2021. He’s also visited Clemson multiple times but the Tigers haven’t offered.
USC is among the top ten schools named over the weekend by DT Kamarion Franklin (6-5 260) of Lake Cormorant, MS. The others on his short list are Tennessee, Texas A&M, Miami, Mississippi State, Alabama, Ole Miss, Texas, Florida State and Michigan.
Clemson is in the top 10 with WR Alex Taylor of Greensboro, NC. The others are North Carolina, Auburn, Wake Forest, East Carolina, Missouri, Penn State, West Virginia, NC State and Virginia Tech. He visited Clemson during the season for the NC State game. He also visited earlier in the year. NC State also appears to be strong with him at this point.
Former Clemson QB DJ Uiagalelei announced over the weekend that he is transferring to Oregon State. During his Clemson career, Uiagalelei played in 35 games. He completed 59.8% of 861 passes for 5681 yards and 36 touchdowns with 17 interceptions. He also rushed for 919 yards and 15 touchdowns.
USC commitment DE Zavion Hardy said he did not hear back from the NCAA Clearinghouse Friday, so he will not sign until February 1st. Hardy said he remains locked in with the Gamecocks.
USC 2024 commitment QB Dante Reno said Friday he has not yet decided if he will enroll next month. “We are going to see how everything plays out after bowl game now.” USC has 7 QBs now, so Reno is waiting to see what attrition there might be after the bowl game.
