#Clemson moving on up in CFP ranking

The big win over Miami helped Clemson move up a spot in the CFP ranking (Travis Bell/SIDELINE CAROLINA)

The third ranking by the College Football Playoff Committee was released Tuesday night with no change in the top four. The four remaining undefeated teams, Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan and TCU remain in those top four spots. At least one likely will fall out after Ohio State and Michigan play this Saturday.

Clemson needs more help than that. First, the Tigers need to take care of their own business this Saturday against USC, then they need some ahead of them to lose. The Tigers are up to 8th this week, one spot ahead of last week, but still trail LSU, Southern Cal and Alabama who are 5th through 7th. Alabama and LSU both have two losses.

Oregon and Tennessee complete the top ten with Tennessee falling from #5 after the loss to USC.
