Clemson continues to climb back up in the AP Poll. After falling to 12th following their loss to Notre Dame November 5th, the Tigers are now back up to 7th following Saturday’s win over Miami. The Tigers moved past two-loss Alabama and sits right behind two-loss LSU.
The top four remain unchanged with the last four undefeated teams in the Power Five holding those spots…Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan and TCU. The Bulldogs landed 62 of the 63 first place votes with Ohio State landing the one outlier. Southern Cal, a winner over UCLA last night, is fifth.
Tennessee, which was fifth last week, was dropped to ninth after the stunning loss to USC last night in Columbia. The Gamecocks received enough votes to be 27th overall in the poll.

I don’t get it. Clemson plays a mediocre schedule anyway, and they beat one of the worst teams in their conference and they move up 3-4 places?!?! I swear, it’s nothing but the voters trying to be all inclusive with conferences. Clemson barely beats most everyone, but they are heralded as something they aren’t.
