#STRecruiting Notebook 11-9

USC lost one of their two 2024 commitments Tuesday night when CB Karson Hobbs of Cincinnati announced a decommitment. He recently picked up an offer from Notre Dame and visited there last weekend. Wednesday morning he declared a commitment to the Irish. Hobbs committed to the Gamecocks July 29th after visiting in June and July and attending one of the Shane Beamer camps. He also visited USC for a game in September. Kentucky, Akron, Marshall and West Virginia were his other offers at that time. Hobbs’ defection leaves QB Dante Reno as the lone commitment in the 2024 class.

USC target RB Khalifa Keith was offered by Miami.

2024 DE Dylan Stewart (6-5 235) of Washington, DC named USC as his current favorite in a story by Chad Simmons of On3. He has been to Penn State, Ohio State and Michigan for games this season and those three are also strong with him.

USC target TE/DE Nyckoles Harbor has set December officials with LSU, Maryland and Miami over the first three weekends according to Chad Simmons of On3. Harbor has taken officials to USC and Michigan.

USC commitment OT Isaiah Jatta was offered by Maryland.

2024 DE Eddrick Houston of Buford, GA named a top ten of Clemson, Oregon, Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Tennessee and LSU. USC had also offered him.

USC target 2024 WR Terrance Moore Jr. of Tampa was offered by Florida State.

USC target LB Devin Smith of Brunswick, GA was offered by North Carolina.

2024 Woodland OT Kam Pringle plans to visit Florida this Saturday.

2025 OT Mal Waldrep (6-5 295) of Columbus, GA plans to visit Clemson Saturday.

Wednesday marked the start of the early signing period for sports other than football. The USC men announced the signings of their commitments 6-8 Collin Murray-Boyles and 6-6 Arden Conyers. The USC women announced the signings of two commitments, 5-10 Tessa Johnson and 6-3 Chloe Kitts. They also have a commitment from 6-1 Sanyah Jah.
