Clemson missed on another of their top targets at defensive tackle Monday night when Kayden McDonald of Suwanee, GA announced for Ohio State. McDonald also had Florida, Oklahoma and Michigan on his short list. McDonald took official visits to the other four programs, and he was scheduled for an official visit to Clemson for the USC weekend. He did take an unofficial visit to Clemson for the Syracuse game, and he was also in for a camp stop in June. The Tigers have three defensive tackles committed in Stephiylan Green, Peter Woods and Victor Burley. They also have defensive ends committed in AJ Hoffler and David Ojiegbe. The Tigers are still in hot pursuit of DE Tomarrion Parker of Phenix City, AL. He was at Texas A&M last weekend. Befort that, he made his official visit to Clemson for the Syracuse weekend, and he’s scheduled to return to Clemson for the Miami game.

CB Tyler Scott of Mableton, GA made an official visit to Auburn last weekend, and he’s scheduled for an official visit to Texas November 12th. He’s also planning official visits to Southern Cal and Michigan after the season. He has been to Louisville and Vanderbilt for unofficial visits. He continues to communicate with USC secondary coach Torrian Gray, and he wants him to come in for an unofficial visit for the Tennessee game November 19th. Scott said he and Gray talk a lot and he still wants him. The Gamecocks have a commitment from his teammate WR CJ Adams. Scott said some people are assuming he’s going to follow Adams to USC, but he said he’s more inclined to go his own way. Scott named his current favorites as Auburn, Louisville, Southern Cal, Alabama and Florida State.

2023 ATH Suderian Harrison of Woodland made an unofficial visit to USC for the Missouri game. While there he talked briefly with head coach Shane Beamer who was meeting him for the first time. Harrison said he was impressed with the facilities, which he had seen before at camp. Harrison said running backs coach Monterio Hardesty is recruiting him, so whatever interest they might have in him would be as a running back. Harrison said he plans to visit Virginia Tech this Saturday.

Clemson and USC target OL DJ Chester of McDonough, GA named a top six of Florida State, LSU, FAMU, Ole Miss, Auburn and Michigan.

2024 TE Michael Smith (6-4 225) of Savannah named a top eight of USC, Tennessee, Ohio State, Alabama, Florida, Arkansas, Texas and Penn State.

2024 PK/P Bobby Engstler of Tallahassee visited USC for the Missouri game. That was his second game day visit to USC. He was also in for the Georgia State game. He’s also been to games this season at Florida State, Florida and Alabama.

Per his Instagram account, 2024 OT Peyton Joseph (6-4 280) of Fort Valley, GA was offered Monday by USC. Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Georgia, Ohio State, Miami and Oklahoma are some other offers.

2025 WR Caleb Cunningham (6-3 180) of Ackerman, MS and 2026 WR O’Mari Johnson (6-1 170) of Wesson, MS.

Clemson target 2024 OT Blake Frazier plans to visit Oklahoma this Saturday.

USC and Clemson target 2024 TE Caleb Odom plans to visit LSU this Saturday.

2025 6-3 Kaleb Evans of Lexington plans to visit Clemson November 29th.

2024 RHP/3B Gavin King (6-5 190) of Liberty Creek, TN and 2026 SS/RHP Parker McGee of Lancaster committed to USC.
