#STRecruiting Notebook 10-24

Clemson Saturday handed out several more offers to prospects who were in for the Syracuse game, including a running back in the 2023 class. Tigers running back coach CJ Spiller made the move with Jamarius Haynes (6-0 180) of Roanoke, AL giving him his first offer. This season Haynes has rushed for 1273 yards and 18 touchdowns.

The Tigers also offered 2024 OL Blake Frazier (6-5 250) of Austin, TX, 2024 DT Malik Blocton (6-3 268) of Pike Road, AL and 2024 RB David Eziomume (6-1 200) of Kennesaw, GA Frazier is the teammate of 2023 Clemson offensive tackle recruit Ian Reed.

USC also delivered new offers over the weekend:

2024 RB Dilin Jones (5-11 180) of Olney, MD
2024 DE Darien Mayo (6-6 240) of Olney, MD
2025 WR Edward Coleman (5-11 180) of Savannah

2025 TE/DE Emaree Winston of Calhoun, GA
2027 WR/DB Iveon Lewis of Richmond

Spartanburg QB Raheim Jeter committed to East Carolina.

2023 OL Gabriel Fortson (6-4 300) of Kennesaw, GA, who drew interest from Clemson and visited for two games last season and one this season, committed to Georgia Tech.

USC target CB Chris Peal of Charlotte committed to Georgia Sunday.

USC and Clemson are in top eight with 2024 Greenville OT Blake Franks. The others are Florida, Ole Miss, UNC, Miami, Alabama and Florida State.

USC is in the final eight with 2024 WR Brandon Winton Jr. of IMG Academy. The others are Miami, Louisville, Boston College, Penn State, Kansas, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

ATH Suderian Harrison of Woodland was offered by Vanderbilt and Oklahoma.

2024 RB Turbo Richard of Northwestern was offered by Charlotte.

2026 QB Josiah Oxendine of Dillon was offered by Marshall.

      Clemson and USC had big home games Saturday, and both attracted some key recruits for unofficial visits.

      2024 6-4 Cam Scott of Lexington made the first of his official visits over the weekend to USC. He also plans to take official visits to Auburn, Texas and Florida State. He visited Tennessee unofficially the previous weekend and he plans to take an unofficial visit to Duke. Auburn coach Bruce Pearl and Duke coach Jon Scheyer were in to see Scott last week.

      Clemson target 6-3 Mike Williams of Baltimore took his final official visit over the weekend to LSU. He also took officials to Clemson, Syracuse, DePaul and Wake Forest. A commitment date hasn’t been set but an announcement is expected at any time with Clemson and LSU believed to be the frontrunners.

      2023 6-6 Aalyah Del Rosario of Nashville plans to make her commitment announcement Tuesday. She’s choosing from USC, Tennessee, LSU and North Carolina.
