Sunday night conference call: Swinney readies #Clemson for NC State (AUDIO)

Jake Briningstool (9) and Beaux Collins (80) each caught touchdown passes, Saturday (Tigernet)

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney addressed the media via Zoom, Sunday, following the Tigers’ heart stopping overtime victory over Wake Forest. Swinney took questions on the stellar play of quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei (10 TDs, 1 int.) through four games and what challenges NC State presents. Swinney reiterated some of his comments from Saturday’s postgame press conference, including the emphasis on how much better the cornerback play must be moving forward and the respect he has for Dave Clawson and Wake Forest.

NC State will enter Death Valley ranked no. 10 in the AP poll. Clemson retained its top-five ranking following its 51-45 victory in Winston-Salem, NC. The winner of Saturday’s game in Clemson will go a long way toward deciding the Atlantic Division representative in the ACC Championship Game. The Tigers entered 2022 as the division favorites according to the ACC media poll and the Wolfpack were picked to finish second. The two ranked teams will collide at 7:30 p.m., Saturday.
