#Clemson remains 5th in the AP ranking

As far as the AP voters are concerned, Clemson remains on the outside looking in at the top four. The Tigers remained 5th this week in the voting accumulating 1268 points. That left them 96 points behind Michigan for the #4 spot. Georgia strengthened their hold on #1 with their impressive 48-7 win at USC Saturday. The Bulldogs received 59 first place votes, six more than last week.

Alabama picked up three first place votes and sits at #2, and Ohio State received the other first place vote and is ranked third. Following Clemson in the top ten are Oklahoma, Southern Cal, Kentucky, Oklahoma State and Arkansas. #14 Penn State and #15 Oregon were the biggest movers this week up climbing eight and ten spots respectively.

Clemon’s next two opponents, NC State and Wake Forest, are ranked 12th and 21st respectively.
