USC is now set for three of their top targets to come off the board by Sunday, with Sunday having the potential of a huge day for the Gamecocks. Sumter DE Monteque Rhames will announce his college commitment Saturday while Dorman offensive tackle Markee Anderson, Hyattsville, MD OT Oluwatosin Babalade and Roanoke, VA WR Carmelo Taylor will reveal their choices on Sunday.

Rhames has a short list of USC, Georgia, NC State, Michigan and Alabama. He has not taken any official visits, but his unofficial visits include stops at USC, NC State and Alabama among his finalists. Anderson is choosing from USC, Clemson, North Carolina and LSU. Those were his four official visits. He also visited USC in early April and for their spring game. Between USC and Clemson, the Gamecocks seem to have made the stronger effort for Anderson and appear to be in better shape for him than the Tigers. He also visited North Carolina unofficially in April. Anderson will announce at a celebration dinner in Spartanburg at 3:00 PM.

Taylor has USC, Virginia Tech, Penn State, West Virginia and Maryland as his finalists. He took June official visits to USC, Virginia Tech and Penn State. He also camped at USC in June and took an unofficial visit to Virginia Tech. Taylor is also a standout sprinter.

He took his official visit to Clemson the weekend of June 3rd. He also made official visits to Tennessee and Texas. He is not among the prospects who have said they will be at Clemson’s cook-out Monday Night.

St. Bonaventure offered 6-8 Columbia native Collin Murray-Boyles according to Jamie Shaw of On3. USC is also among the offers for the former AC Flora forward who will be attending school in Utah this season.

USC picked up a baseball commitment from SS/OF Raudi Rodriguez (6-0 190) of Statesboro, GA. He’s a native of Albany, GA. Here’s the Perfect Game scouting report on Rodriguez: Mature athletic build with very good present strength. 6.81 runner in the sixty. Primary infielder on defense but also stood out defensively in the outfield and has high level tools at both. Moves through the ball very well in the infield, aggressive getting to the ball and has active quick feet, plenty of raw arm strength. Surprisingly good fundamentals in the outfield for it being his secondary position, has a quick transition and release on his throws with outstanding carry and accuracy. Right handed hitter, has a fully extended swing with present next level bat speed and power, showed very good barrel control and the ability to consistently drive the ball and dominate at-bats.

Clemson picked up a commitment from LHP/1B/OF Jackson Cole (6-3 180) of Boiling Springs.
