USC RB target Treyaun Webb had planned to announce his commitment decision on Wednesday. But Monday night he tweeted he no longer will be announcing on that date. He did not say if he will announce on an earlier date or a later date. Webb took official visits in June to Florida, Penn State and USC with the Gamecocks getting the final visit last weekend.
There’s another commitment out there waiting to happen for USC. Monday afternoon USC coach Shane Beamer put out his third commitment alert on Twitter since Sunday. The first two were claimed by WR CJ Adams and LB Grayson Howard. “Well that didn’t take long. GREAT players want to play with GREAT players and I just got a phone call from a GREAT one,” Beamer tweeted. “What a day for @GamecockFB.”
Clemson target OT Harris Sewell has set Wednesday at 1:00 PM Eastern for his commitment announcement. He also has Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma and Alabama on his short list. Sewell made his official visit to Clemson the weekend of June 3rd.
Clemson target RB Jeremiah Cobb will announce his commitment July 1st with Clemson, Auburn and Tennessee the finalists. Cobb took his official visit to Clemson the weekend of June 3rd.
CB Sharif Denson, who had USC on his short list, committed to Florida.
Goose Creek QB Drew Moore committed to Mercer.
Camden DE Shymeik Jones was offered by Liberty.
