Clemson Tuesday lost the first player to commit to their 2023 recruiting class. WR Nathanial “RayRay” Joseph (5-8 170) of Miami took to his Instagram account to announce a decommitment from the Tigers. In his post Joseph said after conferring with his family, the decision was made to reopen his recruiting. He also added the following: “This was a hard decision for me to make, but some things took place that me and my family didn’t like, so I will be reopening my recruitment.” Joseph committed to Clemson in September of 2021 choosing them over Florida, Florida State and Texas A&M. He then went on to have a season of 1400 all-purpose yards and 14 touchdowns. Miami is expected to be a major player for Joseph now with the push to keep him home to play for the Hurricanes.
