#STRecruiting: #Gamecocks offer Alabama quarterback as an ATH

Kamron Sandlin

USC Tuesday offered ATH Kamron Sandlin (6-2 220) of Anniston, AL according to a tweet on Sandlin’s Twitter account. While Sandlin is listed as one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks nationally in his class, the Gamecocks offered him as an athlete, potentially as a tight end or a wide receiver.

Sandlin has posted a practice video of him blocking and going out for passes. He stated he’s an athlete who can play anywhere on the field.

Sandlin also holds offers from Mississippi State, Kentucky, UAB, Western Kentucky, Georgia State, Samford, Austin Peay and Alcorn State. He has visited Georgia, Auburn and Mississippi State.

USC recruiter Jody Wright didn’t stop with the offer to Sandlin while in Anniston. He also offered ATH Jaylon Cunningham (5-9 170). Cunningham plays running back and receiver.

Also Tuesday night, DT Kelby Collins of Gardendale, AL announced an official visit date with the Gamecocks for June 10th. USC is one of his top five along with Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma and Alabama.
