Is the USC baseball team about to turn some type of corner? The Gamecocks are 18-17 going into tonight’s game at Winthrop. They have a weekend trip to Auburn on the horizon. The Gamecocks have won three of their last four games and just took a series from Ole Miss. USC opened the season 7-1 and has gone 11-16 since.
Injuries, particularly to the pitching staff, have made this a difficult season to navigate for Mark Kingston and his staff. Tuesday night he joined us on SportsTalk to say they’ve not given up on the season and he sees better days ahead.
