One week to the day of his firing after ten seasons as head basketball coach at USC, Frank Martin returned to the statewide airwaves as a guest on SportsTalk Monday night. In the nearly 25-minute conversation, Martin shared that he was stung by his dismissal, that he expected to sign 6-10 GG Jackson of Ridge View and that he’s not close to taking another job, but he wants to coach again. Martin said he is not scheduled to be back on TV this week for the NCAA Tournament but could return for the Final Four.
