Jonathan French drove in four runs and Cooper Ingle extended his hitting streak to 14 games as Clemson overwhelmed Northeastern 10-4 at Doug Kingsmore Stadium, Saturday. After a five-run fifth inning rally keyed Clemson’s victory, Friday, the Tigers put up another crooked number in the fifth inning in Game 2 of the series. French followed Ingle’s second homer of the season with an RBI single to put Clemson up 6-2. Dylan Brewer plated French with a double and the rout was on. Caden Grice provided an insurance run with a long ball in the seventh, his fourth of the season.

Nick Hoffman (3-0, 3.60) battled windy conditions, giving up four runs over seven innings to pick up his third win. Clemson (14-0) will go for the sweep at noon, Sunday.
