The Clemson Tigers completed their fifth workout of the spring season on Wednesday and according to head coach Dabo Swinney, there were a lot of positives about which to brag. Notably at the most important position on the field.
During his post-practice media session, Swinney stated that quarterback DJ Uiagalelei enjoyed probably as, “good a practice as he’s ever had at Clemson.” Backing that praise up with a 16-for-18 stat line. He also noted that freshman QB Cade Klubnik is everything they thought he was when they recruited the native Texan.
The veteran head coach further raved about the play of center Will Putnam, saying that wide receiver Adam Randall would “fit right in” physically in an NFL locker room, while also delivering the news that cornerback Jaedyn Lukus would have surgery after spring break on his shoulder.
