The month of February for the Clemson men’s basketball team was clearly a roller coaster. From a six-game losing streak to four straight wins, the end of the regular season would have made for one heck of a ride at Carowinds. Now as the Tigers prepare to open the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament in Brooklyn, New York, head coach Brad Brownell is hoping for a smoother journey.
On Monday, Brownell met with the media via Zoom from New York as his 10th seeded Tigers prepare to face #15-seed NC State at 4:30pm on the ACC Network. The winner of the contest will square off against 7th seeded Virginia Tech in the second round on Wednesday. Clemson won the regular season matchups with both the Wolfpack and Hokies. The Tigers posted a 70-65 win at NC State on January 8th, before closing out the year with a 63-59 triumph over the Hokies this past Saturday.
