SEC Women’s Tournament: #Gamecocks oust Arkansas, 76-54 (AUDIO)

South Carolina held Arkansas to 31% shooting in its 76-54 SEC Women’s Tournament Quarterfinals victory in Nashville, Friday. Aliyah Boston posted her 22nd straight double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Boston also led her club with five assists.

The Razorbacks shot just 24% in the first quarter as USC raced out to a commanding 24-12 lead. Neither team shot particularly well from behind the 3-point line, but Arkansas struggled mightily, making just 5 of 31 (16%) from deep. Laeticia Amihere joined Boston in double figures with 16 points.

The Gamecocks are into the semifinals and will tip off against Ole Miss at 5 p.m., Saturday.
