
Outfielder Andrew Eyster stayed red hot with four hits, and Will Sanders scattered six hits and three runs over seven innings as USC defeated George Washington 13-4 Friday night in Columbia. Eyster went 4-for-5 with three runs scored and two RBI to lead a 12-hit attack. Sanders threw 87 pitches to pick up his second win of the season in as many starts.
The Gamecocks are 4-1, and the teams will play a doubleheader Saturday afternoon to complete the three-game series.
