Aliyah Boston set an SEC record with a double-double for a 20th straight game (South Carolina Athletics)

Top-ranked USC clinched the SEC regular season title outright Thursday night with an 89-48 victory at Texas A&M. It’s the sixth time in nine years the Gamecocks have won the regular season title. Aliyah Boston set an SEC record with her 20th straight double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds.

USC led by 21 points at the break and by 27 points after three quarters. The 89 points are a season high with the Gamecocks scoring 48 points in the paint. They grabbed 17 offensive rebounds and converted them into 19 points. The Gamecocks also dished out 22 assists and had a season low seven turnovers. They shot 53% for the game.

USC will close out the regular season Sunday afternoon at Ole Miss.
