USC got back on the winning track Saturday knocking off Georgia in Athens, and now the Gamecocks head down to Ole Miss on Tuesday night. The Gamecocks are 5-7 in the SEC and 14-10 overall with six games to play. Their NET Ranking this week is 102 and they have one Q1 win at this point. That was over Texas A&M which has slipped to #73 in the NET. The Aggies need to stay in the top 75 for the Gamecocks to claim that win in College Station as Q1.
The Gamecocks don’t have a good history in Oxford. they are 2-15 there, and they’ve lost their last three games to the Rebels. Ole Miss is 12-13 overall and 3-9 in the SEC. They’ve lost their last two games, by five at Florida and by six at home to Alabama.
Monday Martin met with the media via Zoom to discuss his team coming off the Georgia win and other subjects regarding his program.
