Brad Brownell and the Tigers pivot towards a critical stretch for #Clemson basketball (AUDIO)

Al-Amir Dawes scored 18 points and hit six three-pointers in Saturday’s loss at Georgia Tech

The Clemson men’s basketball team is about to enter a rugged stretch of three ACC games in five days. And it won’t be against the bottom feeders of the league as the Tigers host North Carolina (Tuesday/6pm), Duke (Thursday/8pm), and Notre Dame (Saturday/7pm). Clemson also enters the week having lost five of its last seven, including Saturday’s 69-64 loss at Georgia Tech.

On Monday, head coach Brad Brownell previewed the next portion of his team’s schedule on the weekly ACC Zoom call. Brownell noted that having enough energy to “empty the tank” during the three games will be crucial to success. He also touched on the impact not having Hunter Tyson had in the loss at Georgia Tech, while expressing concern about the recent play of his backcourt.
