#Gamecocks Martin previews Tuesday’s matchup with Tennessee (AUDIO)

USC continues a two-game swing through the Volunteer State Tuesday night with a matchup with 22nd ranked Tennessee in Knoxville. The Gamecocks are coming off a win at Vanderbilt that evened their SEC record at 1-1 and put them at 10-4 overall. The Vols have lost two of their last three and are 1-2 in the league, 10-4 overall. Ini the series, UT has won seven of the last eight.

The Vols are a tough defensive team allowing just under 62 points per game. They are 6th nationally in turnover margin and 8th in steals per game. And the offense isn’t bad either at over 75 points per game.

In the updated NET Rankings Monday, Tennessee is 11th with two wins over Q1 teams. The Gamecocks are 99th and 0-2 against Q1 competition.

Monday morning, USC coach Frank Martin previewed the game on a Zoom call with the media.
