
In three seasons, Clemson CB Andrew Booth Jr. played his way played his way into a first round NFL Draft projection. Sunday night, Booth announced he will pursue his NFL dreams by entering the draft and forgoing his senior season with the Tigers.
Booth earned First Team All ACC honors this season after totaling 37 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions and 8 passes defended. For his career, Booth had 68 tackles. 5.5 tackles for loss, 5 interceptions and 14 passes defended.
Booth’s announcement means the Tigers will be forced to replace both starting corners. Fellow All-ACC selection Mario Goodrich played his four seasons and is not returning for the bonus season allowed by the NCAA.
