The Clemson Tigers are enjoying a good stretch of basketball having won five of their last six, including a 70-65 win at NC State on Saturday. The victory was Clemson’s first in Raleigh since the 2014-15 season, when the Tigers posted a 68-57 triumph over the Wolfpack.
On Monday, head coach Brad Brownell jumped on board the ACC men’s basketball Zoom call to look forward to this week’s matchup at Notre Dame and to recap the win over NC State. The Tigers did not face the Irish last season, but the veteran head coach says they present a big challenge to his team on Wednesday. Notre Dame is 3-1 in league play and has won five straight heading into the 7pm tipoff against the Tigers.
Brownell was also asked about his relationship with new Virginia football coach and former Clemson OC Tony Elliott, along with what Graham Neff will bring to the table as he takes over as Athletics Director at Clemson.
