QB Tanner Bailey of Gordo, AL committed to and signed with USC last Friday without ever having stepped foot on campus. Bailey was recruited hard by the Gamecocks earlier in the year but chose Oregon in March.
That commitment stood until the coaching change with the Ducks earlier this month. After that, Bailey took an official visit to Indiana while talking regularly with Shane Beamer and Marcus Satterfield.
They sold him on the opportunity in Columbia and sometime soon he’ll take a visit on his own to see the campus and facilities. In January he’ll take his official visit.
Tuesday night, Bailey joined us on SportsTalk to discuss how he landed in Columbia and into one of the nation’s most talented quarterback rooms.
