#Gamecocks at #Clemson hoops tomorrow night still on for now (AUDIO)

USC and Clemson did not play in men’s basketball last season due to Covid, and an outbreak within the USC program this week has tomorrow night’s game at Littlejohn Coliseum in jeopardy. Friday morning USC coach Frank Martin said he’s prepared to put his team on the bus and head to the Upstate minus at least six players, four with Covid he won’t identify, and two who are out with injuries, Jeremaine Couisnard and AJ Wilson.

Martin and Brad Brownell both said Friday morning in separate Zoom sessions they have not discussed cancelling the game. Martin said his team will have another round of Covid testing on Friday afternoon.

The Gamecocks are 8-2 including wins over Georgetown and Florida State. The Tigers are 7-4 with losses in four of their last six games. Their best wins are over Wofford and Temple. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:00 PM on the ACC Network.
