Clemson coach Dabo Swinney broke the news after practice Wednesday night that the Clemson career of standout receiver Justyn Ross is over. Swinney said Ross will go ahead and have surgery to repair the small fracture in his foot, and once he’s recovered from that, he’ll start training for the NFL workouts coming up next year.

Ross had 47 catches this season for 524 yards and 3 touchdowns. For his Clemson career he caught 159 passes for 2389 yards and 20 touchdowns. He is 11th all-time at Clemson in receptions, 10th in receiving yards and tied for 5th in touchdown catches.
