Following USC’s 40-17 win over Florida on Saturday, we took some liberties with the old UPS slogan by asking, “what can Brown do for you?”. The reference was not to Christmas deliveries but to Gamecock starting quarterback Jason Brown. The senior transfer, who was making his first career SEC start, carved up the Gators to the tune of 14 of 24 passing for 172 yards and two touchdowns.
On Wednesday, the praise continued for the Fredericksburg, Virginia native who will make his second consecutive start on Saturday as USC travels to Missouri. Beforehand, both USC offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield and defensive coordinator Clayton White took an opportunity to offer their thoughts on Brown’s performance and to shed some light on the matchup with the Tigers.
