#Clemson delivers the final punch in 30-24 win at Louisville (AUDIO)

In the hometown of Muhammad Ali, Clemson and Louisville exchanged some heavyweight blows (25 big plays combined) Saturday night. And with the Cardinals breathing on the Tigers’ goal line in the final seconds, it was the Clemson defense which delivered the knockout punch. They stopped the Cardinals four times from inside the five-yard line in the final seconds to preserve a 30-24 victory and keep alive the Tigers slim hopes of winning the ACC Atlantic Division. Clemson also remain undefeated against Louisville with this being their seventh win in the series.

It was a game that saw both teams throw up goal line stands, and both starting quarterbacks go into the medical tent. Both came back, but Louisville wasn’t the same after Malik Cunningham left the game with an ankle injury late in the third quarter with his team leading 24-17. In his absence the Cardinals mustered four yards. That opened the door for a Clemson rally, and the Tigers took advantage scoring the final 13 points. Louisville did nothing offensively during that run until their surge in the last two minutes.
