Coordinators’ Corner: #Clemson DC Brent Venables and OC Tony Elliott (AUDIO) #Clemson

The Clemson defense bottled up the FSU offense most of the game Saturday in Death Valley (Travis Bell/SIDELINE CAROLINA)

Clemson pulled out a 30-20 win over Florida State Saturday in Death Valley. The Tigers covered the 9.5-point spread only because they recovered a fumble and scored with no time left on the clock as the Seminoles were attempting to lateral the ball across the field. The Clemson offense, again, was nothing special, totaling 377 yards and committing three turnovers. The defense limited the Seminoles to 244 yards and had 6 sacks but did give up 5 plays of over 20 yards. And kicker BJ Potter missed three field goals. So, while it was a win, there are plenty of concerns coming out of the game.

Monday defensive coordinator Brent Venables and offensive coordinator Tony Elliott took questions from the media at the indoor practice facility.
