Coastal Carolina holding on as state’s lone ranked team #CCU

And then there was only Coastal Carolina left in the Sunday national polls from the Palmetto State. Clemson lost its seat at the Top 25 table with the loss to Pitt. The Tigers, who had already fallen out of the AP ranking, dropped out of the coaches top 25 from the 24th spot last week. Coastal Carolina, a loser Wednesday night at Appalachian State, is barely hanging in the rankings. The Chants are 24th in both polls.

Georgia received all the first-place votes in the respective polls to hold on to the top spot thru their open week. Spots 2-5 in the polls are identical…Cincinnati, Alabama, Oklahoma and Ohio State.
