Georgia to the top of the polls; no movement for #CCU; coaches vote #Clemson down

Coastal Carolina was a non-mover in the polls Sunday (CCU Athletics)

Georgia ascended to the top of both major polls out on Sunday following their dominating win at Auburn and Alabama’s upset loss at Texas A&M. The Bulldogs, who host fellow unbeaten SEC East rival Kentucky this Saturday and are favored by 24.5 points, received all the 62 first place votes in the AP poll, and 64 of the 65 votes in the coaches ranking, the other going to Iowa. The Hawkeyes are second in both polls. Cincinnati is up to third in the AP ranking followed by Oklahoma and Alabama. The coaches ranked it Oklahoma, Cincinnati and Alabama.

Despite another blowout victory, Coastal Carolina did not move in either poll, sitting at the #15 spot. Clemson, which remains out of the AP ranking, was dropped from 21st to 25th in the coaches ranking during their off week.
