Clemson heads into its bye week off of a 19-13 win over Boston College this past weekend. For as much as the Tigers have struggled offensively, Clemson seemed to find some traction as the “Orange and White” rolled up over 400 yards in total offense, including 200+ yards passing from QB DJ Uiagalelei.
On Monday, head coach Dabo Swinney held a Zoom conference call with the media, despite the Tigers not playing this weekend. Clemson returns to the gridiron at Syracuse on Friday, October 15th.
Key Comments from Dabo Swinney …
- +3 in the turnover margin and their depth came through, “so I’m proud of that,”
- Says the open date comes at a good time because of the amount of injuries on the team, including Will Taylor who tore his ACL.
- Noted that both Galloway and Ross are doing ok after being injured against BC.
- Dabo heaped a lot of praise on the offensive line, “we played really well up front.”
