USC target 6-9 Josh Reed of Atlanta has set October 1st for his commitment announcement. Reed took an official visit to USC on September 17th. He visited Cincinnati last weekend. He also made official visits to Northwestern, Rice and Liberty. He’s also had Butler and Boston College on his short list. Reed’s mother is from Rock Hill and his grandmother still resides there. Last season, Reed averaged 17 points and 8 rebounds per game.
Blythewood native 6-6 Julian Phillips, now in Branson, MO, plans to name his top four Wednesday. He’s had Clemson on his short list with Alabama, Kansas, LSU, Florida State, Tennessee, UCLA, Florida, Virginia and Southern Cal.
2023 DT Keith Sampson of New Bern, NC, who has a USC offer and interest from Clemson, plans to name a top ten October 13th He made unofficial visits to USC, Clemson and North Carolina in the summer.
Clemson made the top 7 with 2023 CB Tony Mitchell of Alabaster, AL. The others are LSU, Texas A&M, Florida, Alabama, Georgia and Oregon.
USC target 2023 QB Dylan Lonergan of Snellville, GA plans to visit Alabama Saturday. He was at USC last Saturday.
2023 TE Ethan Davis of Suwanee, GA was offered by North Carolina. He just named USC as one of his top ten, and he was at Clemson for a game earlier in the season.
Emerald DT Robby Harrison committed to Arizona State.
Dutch Fork QB Davin Patterson was offered by Washington and Lee, his first official offer.
2023 OT Logan Locklear (6-5 270) of West Florence plans to visit USC Saturday. He was at Coastal Carolina last weekend.
2024 WR Mazeo Bennett (6-0 165) of Greenville High plans to visit USC Saturday. He visited Coastal Carolina and Appalachian State the last two weekends.
2023 CB Travon West of Wren plans to visit West Virginia this weekend.
