Coordinators’ Corner: White and Satterfield glance ahead to Troy (AUDIO) #Gamecocks

Jabari Ellis (#99) and the USC defense forced three turnovers in Saturday’s loss to Kentucky (Gamecock Football)

After a 2-0 start USC football has lost its last two, both in SEC play to Georgia and Kentucky. Carolina has gotten progressively worse each week offensively with the Gamecocks now averaging just 322 yards per game. That total ranks towards the bottom of FBS football after four contests. Meantime, USC’s defense has played solidly all year long and currently ranks inside the “Top 30” nationally giving up 300 yards an outing.

On Wednesday, Gamecocks’ Offensive Coordinator Marcus Satterfield and Defensive Coordinator Clayton White visited with the media to discuss their units and how each can improve heading into Saturday’s non-conference matchup with Troy.
