Third ranked Clemson and fifth ranked Georgia renew their rivalry on Saturday night in Charlotte. It will be the 65th meeting all time between the Bulldogs and Tigers, but the first time that quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei has been a part of the series. The sophomore from California visited with the media on Monday and admitted that he’s excited about the opportunity to play UGA in front of a capacity crowd.
“I think it’s going to be amazing. I’m super excited about going to Charlotte, I don’t know how many people they hold in Charlotte, but I know it’s going to be a packed stadium. So, it will be my first time to playing in a packed stadium.”
