The Clemson Tigers held their third football practice of the preseason on Monday, but the story coming out of the Upstate was the appearance of two stars from other sports. Both NBA legend Charles Barkley and MLB All-Star Darryl Strawberry were on hand for the Tigers’ workout. Barkley spoke to the team, while Strawberry was a guest to coach Dabo Swinney. He was out in the afternoon watching the offense and kickoff team practice.
Afterwards Swinney, quarterback DJ Uiagalelei, and defensive lineman Bryan Bresee met with the media. The Tigers will hit the practice field again on Tuesday at 4pm, prior to their first scrimmage of fall camp this coming Saturday.
